Qatar Affirms Its Firm Position on Palestinian Issue

The State of Qatar affirmed its firm position on the Palestinian issue, which stipulates ending the Israeli occupation and establishing the State of Palestine with Jerusalem as its capital within the framework of international legitimacy and relevant Security Council resolutions while granting all Palestinian refugees the right of return, as that is what the State of Qatar sees as the root and sustainable solution to this conflict, which has lasted for more than 70 years.



Statement from the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs on New Minimum Wage and Labour Mobility Law

In furtherance of Qatar’s efforts to protect the interests of employers and employees alike, the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (ADLSA) has today taken a major step forward in its labour reform programme, introducing a non-discriminatory minimum wage and removing the No-Objection Certificate requirement to change jobs for employees.



International Court of Justice rules that Qatar can challenge airspace restrictions at the International Civil Aviation Organization

The State of Qatar welcomes ruling by the International Court of Justice (the “ICJ”) that it has the right to challenge airspace restrictions imposed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arab Republic of Egypt (“the Blockading States”) before the UN’s aviation body – the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Announces Qatar's Pledge of $10 Million for WHO to Combat COVID-19 Pandemic

Doha, June 27 (QNA) - HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani announced Saturday that the State of Qatar pledged $10 million to the World Health Organization (WHO) to support the finding of testing equipment, treatment, and vaccine for the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), in addition to its $20 million contribution to the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI).

दोहा, ११ मार्च (क्यना) / जनस्वास्थ्य मन्त्रालयले आज कतारमा करोन भाइरस (COVID-१९) को २३८ वटा नयाँ पुष्टि भएका बिरामीहरुलाई सम्पर्क गर्न पठाएको छ। ती आइतवार ती भाइरसबाट संक्रमित घोषित भएका तीनवटा घटनामा सम्पर्क राखेका थिए जुन एक आवासीय परिसरमा बस्छन्। मन्त्रालयले बताएको छ कि नयाँ मुद्दा दर्ता गरिएको थियो ती मध्ये तीन जनाको संक्रमण भएको पत्ता लागेदेखि नै सावधानी अपनाईएका व्यक्तिहरुमा ती व्यक्तिहरु जसले समाजका अन्य सदस्यहरुसंग सम्पर्क गर्नबाट रोके जसले गर्दा हालसम्म देशमा अहिलेसम्म देशमा भाइरसको पुष्टि भएका केसहरूको संख्या संख्या २६५ सम्म पुगेको छ।
