Qatar Fund for Development sent a shipment of urgent medical aid to Nepal

Qatar Fund for Development sent a consignment of medical aid of 50 respirators to Nepal, to support the efforts in combating the Covid-19 pandemic, the cargo total load is 475 kg.
Dr. Pawan Jung Rayamajhi Director- Curative Service Division, Department of health services was at the reception of the cargo.
On this occasion, His Excellency Yousef bin Mohammed Al-Hail, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Nepal, affirmed that this aid is based on the directives of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, to send medical aid to friendly Nepal in support of its efforts to control the outbreak of the epidemic, it indicates the close cooperation relations between the two countries.
On this occasion, His Excellency Mr. Khalifa Al Kuwari, Director General of the Qatar Fund for Development, stressed the importance of this assistance to complement the great efforts made by the State of Qatar to combat the repercussions of the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, which had a great impact on the world and created many difficulties at all levels.
His Excellency the Ambassador stressed the need for all peoples to unite to confront and eliminate the Covid-19 pandemic.
It is worth noting that this urgent assistance provided by the State of Qatar to brotherly and friendly countries comes within the framework of the efforts made to combat the spread of this epidemic, which represents a common threat facing the whole world.
