H.E. Mr. Ram Bahadur Thapa minister of home affairs met at the ministry with H.E. Mr. Yousuf bin Mohamed Al-Hail ambassador of the State of Qatar in Kathmandu, during the meeting the two sides reviewed several issues of common interests.
H.E. Al-Hail expressed the State of Qatar’s willingness to strengthen the bilateral relations and security cooperation with the Nepali government in a number of sectors related to the challenges and security threats. He also conveyed the keenness of the State of Qatar’s Ministry of Interior to extend continued communication and cooperation through exchange of information and experience with its counterpart in Nepal.    
H.E. Mr. Thapa affirmed the distinguished relations between the two countries, and commended the State of Qatar care for the Nepali community and the role of the Ministry of Interior and its services.
