Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Nepal H.E. Yousuf bin Mohamed Al-Hail has organized a celebration on the occasion of the World Cup 2022 countdown as well as presenting of Qatari food, at Soaltee Kathmandu hotel on 23 October 2022.  
H.E. Bharat Raj Paudyal Foreign secretary of Nepal has honored the celebration as chief guest, in presence head of diplomatic missions accredited to Nepal, UN officials, private sector, media, secretaries of the ministries of Youth and Sports, Culture and Tourism, Labour and Employment, National Sports Council, Nepal Olympic Committee, Nepal Football Association, sports stars and large number participant.  
H.E. the Ambassador welcomed the guests and expressed appreciation and thanks for the government of Nepal’s cooperation in the field of labour and praised the Nepali workers’ role and contribution in construction of the infrastructure and facilities of the World Cup.
World Cup memorial gifts were distributed during the celebration.
